April 27, 2012

Fabulicious Food! was recently contacted by the Sainsbury’s team and asked to be a part of the Sainsbury’s Bank Family Blogger Network, as well as being highlighted in a feature on 20 Fantastic Family Food Blogs. The Sainsbury’s team liked my angle on family food, seasonal recipes and using locally produced food, as well as my blog events for other bloggers to join in with. So, thank you to Sainsbury’s for visiting my blog and enjoying it. I am looking forward to submitting some of my ideas and recipes to their Money Matters blog, too.

I have two Sainsbury’s gift cards/vouchers to giveaway, so two of my lucky readers will win a £50 gift card each, see the Rafflecopter giveaway form below. You could stock up on lots of lovely healthy, seasonal food for your family with one of these vouchers, or treat yourself to something special!

Giveaway:

    • Entry to this giveway is via the Rafflecopter form below. There is no alternative prize.
    • To begin, please enter your name and e-mail address on the Rafflecopter form so that I can contact you if you win.
    • A mandatory question will appear, which you need to answer by leaving a comment at the bottom of the post, before going back to the Rafflecopter form and hitting “Enter”.
    • After this, you can complete the bonus entries as explained on the form to increase your odds of winning!

26 Sushi & Tapas serves a delightful fusion Japanese-Peruvian cuisine known as ‘Nikkei’ that originates from Peru. Nikkei cuisine dates back to the late 19th century when Japanese migrants immigrated to Peru. Over time, the Japanese immigrants influenced the cooking style by blending Peruvian ingredients and Japanese culinary techniques, and cooking with the abundant seafood on the Peruvian coastline. This introduced conceptual dishes made with scallops, eel, and mussels infused with Latin American flavor and spice.

I’d spend it on some lovely luxury foods. I got married last week and over the last year or so what with saving for the wedding and a couple of financial hiccups we’ve really tightened our purse strings. It would be really nice to buy something we ‘want’ and not just something we ‘need’. Plus we both need cheering up as I’m on bedrest and we couldn’t go on honeymoon 🙁

I’d nip to Sainsburys, and bulk buy nappies, cotton wool, baby bath, breast pads and sanitary pads (bit tmi lol).
It’s things that are important and if I have a cupboard full of them, it’s less hassle during those first few weeks with my nearest Sainsburys being absolutely miles away.

Well at this moment in time I,m craving some fresh strawberries… come the day of the prize giving I may have changed my mind. Something fruity or simple like colcannon yummy. Only recently discovered this blog, lots to leisurely trawl through if I can stop dribbling
