10. We always have cheesy beans on the side which is basically saute an onion in butter, add your baked beans and the cover with cheese and breadcrumbs and put in the oven for 20 minutes. Yum.

35. I love BBQ’d lamb chops as all the fat disappears and the meat is tender-melt-in-the-mouth. Corn on the cob as a side with fresh green salad, vegetable rice and hunks of French bread.

41. For me it has to be our family favourite, bananas wrapped in bacon then cooked in foil.

43. We don’t have it very often as it’s quite expensive, but when we can (which is never nowadays!) a really good one which I recommend everyone tries is asparagus wrapped in parma ham. Cook the asparagus a little bit first, wrap it in parma ham and then bung it on the barbie! Lovely!

67. Chicken marinated in lemon, garlic and black pepper and barbecued in foil before going straight on the grill for a few minutes.

68. Red Snapper – when I can find it – is the most delicious fish when barbecued with a pepper salad…Yum!
