Cake Creation – An Inherited Recipe

There is a cake recipe, handed down to me by my mama, that I go back to time and time again. The recipe I usually use is for a typical Polish tray-bake, or a Placek z Owocami. In this case, I used a round tin, but a rectangular tin would work, too.

Recently, my friend, Michelle Becker and I shot a video showing you how to make an easy Pear, Blackberry and Almond cake. I hope you enjoy it. The film was shortlisted in the documentary category at the St Albans Film Festival.
