One of the kitchen gadgets I find the most useful to have is a simple hand blender, which I use often to blend soups, smoothies and even sauces, such as Bolognese to make them easier for the little ones to eat. A hand blender is easy to store, takes up very little space in a drawer and is also quick to clean.

lentil soup is my fave
I can’t get enough of soups- especially when it’s as cold as this! Nice, thick and filling- no need to go outside!
And I’d have to say a special pumpkin soup is my favourite, though I’m not giving the recipe!
